is dependant on the patient, but may include:

  • Normalising the tone of the Autonomic Nervous System which supplies the reproductive and endocrine systems. This is done by mobilising the spine, sympathetic neural chain and peripheral nervous system.
  • Activation of the diaphragm and breathing techniques to improve oxygen uptake. This improves cellular and organ function as well as reducing the effects of stress. Many patients are taking supplements to improve the function of the mitochondria, these are the little ‘power houses’ in our cells which convert oxygen into energy. This energy is used by the cell to function optimally and by the cell membrane to allow waste products to pass out of the cell and nutrients to pass in. But no matter how well the mitochondria are able to function, the fuel they need is oxygen………… far would the most powerful car get without fuel?
  • Stimulation of Neuro-Lymphatic Reflex Points to aid elimination of waste products that interfere with the normal, harmonius functioning of our bodies. This also assists in balancing the endocrine system which is vital for conception. Patients are shown points specific to themselves to work on at home.
  • Connective Tissue Release - to improve the alignment of body structures such as bones, muscles and organs. These all need to move smoothly in relation to one another. An area of tightness or stasis can affect other seemingly unrelated areas, causing dysfunction and/or pain.
  • Reflexology to bring the body into balance and to stimulate the flow of energy.
  • Exercises to improve circulation and mobilise organs in the abdomen and pelvis.
  • Stress and lifestyle management techniques, including relaxation exercises and visualisation.
  • Posture correction and if necessary, taping.
